Mind-Body Coaching
for Equestrians
You love your horse, and you care deeply about doing right by them.
And yet… something feels stuck.
Your riding hasn’t progressed the way you expected.
You hesitate. You overthink. You second-guess every aid, decision, and feeling.
You feel tense, disconnected, or strangely numb in the saddle — even when you’re doing “all the right things.”
If this resonates, you’re not broken. You’re not a bad rider. And you’re definitely not lacking dedication.
You may be riding — and relating to your horse — from a freeze or fawn stress response.
Freeze and fawn don’t always look dramatic. In equestrian life, they often look like:
Feeling paralyzed or blank when something goes wrong
Losing confidence even though you “know better”
Being overly careful, quiet, or compliant with your horse
People-pleasing trainers, barn culture, or expectations
Avoiding risks, transitions, or growth because your body tightens
Feeling disconnected from your intuition around your horse
Constantly monitoring your horse’s emotions while ignoring your own
This is what functional freeze looks like in horsemanship:
You show up. You ride. You try.
But your body is braced, your intuition feels muted, and joy feels just out of reach.
Horses are extremely sensitive to nervous systems. They feel the holding, the hesitation, the shutdown — often before we do. Over time, this can create a loop where both horse and rider feel stuck, guarded, or unsure.
You feel stuck or plateaued in your riding
You feel disconnected, tense, or “not fully there” with your horse
You default to people-pleasing trainers or overriding your instincts
You struggle to advocate for yourself or your horse
You feel frozen when challenges arise instead of responding clearly
You want more softness, confidence, and trust — without forcing it
This isn’t about riding harder, fixing yourself, or pushing through fear.
This is about helping your nervous system feel safe enough to move again — physically, emotionally, and relationally.
My Mind-Body Coaching is a coaching container designed specifically for equestrians who want to:
Reconnect with their body and intuition, in and out of the saddle
Learn how to gently thaw freeze responses that block progress
Unwind fawn patterns that override self-trust
Learn how to build internal safety so confidence emerges naturally
Experience deeper connection with their horse
We work with your nervous system, not against it.
You’ll learn how freeze and fawn stress responses show up in riding and horsemanship, and how to recognize them in real time.
Subtle, practical tools to regulate your system before, during, and after riding - and any other time you need them.
We rebuild trust in your body’s signals so you stop outsourcing your knowing and start making decisions for yourself, and your horse, from connection again.
Learn how to hold boundaries with trainers, barn members, and even your horse, without collapse, guilt, or shutdown.
This work doesn’t live on a yoga mat. It lives in your body, your breath, your responses, and in how you show up with your horse day after day.
From working together, you may experience:
Increased confidence without forcing bravery
Clearer communication with their horse
Less tension, more feel in the saddle
Stronger self-trust and decision-making
A sense of aliveness returning to riding
Horses who soften, respond, and regulate more easily
Because when your nervous system shifts, the relationship shifts.
Bi-weekly Zoom calls (four calls within the 8 weeks together), at times that work with your schedule.
Access to unlimited messaging support via WhatsApp within the 8-week coaching container.
Each week, I'll send you worksheets and journaling prompts, guide you to which somatic practices I think will be most helpful within the library (or create new ones just for you!), and share other practices to help you, based on our calls.
Receive 3-months of access to my library of somatic practices so you can pick-and-choose practices that work for you, anytime you need them.
You don’t need more discipline.
You don’t need to be tougher.
You don’t need to “just get over it.”
You need safety, sensation, and space to feel again, both in your body and with your horse.
If the hobby/sport/lifestyle you love feels frozen, this is your invitation to thaw — gently, honestly, and in a way your nervous system can actually receive.
